In October I travelled to California with the Welsh Junior team to compete in the ISA World Juniors. It was my second time competing at an ISA event and this time I was selected to captain the team alongside Rhys Barfield. We travelled out a week before the comp started and got to travel around, surfing Trestles and Cardiff Reef. Competition week got underway and it started with the opening ceremony, I carried the sand and Rhys carried the flag for Team Wales.

It was such a fun two weeks, mixed feelings as it was my last Under 18 trip with the Welsh team! Made loads of new great friends, caught up with some old ones and experienced a great country, can’t wait to go back!
